Wotcha, all:

This is just a quickie to apologise for my lack of input, since mid-November.

I’ve have quite a few things happening elsewhere and they’re taking up most of my time — that in addition to the fact my wife, Liz, and I are full-time home-schooling parents.

However, I’m hoping things will ease up in the new year so I can put more time into a2f2a.

A half-dozen or so people have been carrying all the weight, with Indy leading the way on the artist side, and although I’ve contributed very little, of late, I still have my ear to the ground and I can assure you a2f2a is still being closely watched by various interested parties.

Anyhow thanks, everyone, for keeping the site alive.

It’s worth it now, and it’ll be even more worth it as things unfold next year.

Cheers!

Jon Newton

and Peace on Earth good will to Men :) It’s all fun. We don’t agree on some things, we do agree on others, might actually agree on some of the simplier principles… but, I retain my right to be a pain in the arse and question everything until you all want to die and ‘give up’ except that you shouldn’t give up… It’s only by giving up that defeat happens… what doesn’t kill us, only makes us stronger. keep on keeping on. As blind as you think the man who won’t accept it for the sake of his ‘ego’, thus is the man accordingly who is reluctant to accept the matters at hand. We’re all on the same page. We’ve just not realised it. Nor I, or you, or we. But, we will. :)

And I’ll be right there with you, disagreeing all the way. ;)

Maybe you’ll make it to Canada, next year, or maybe I’ll make it to my home town, London. Either way, I’ll buy you a coffee. :)

    Cheers!

oh. That sounds cool! and we should have our coffee in a non-commercial anti-Starbucks venue where they still have non-instant coffee and cream that isn’t some kind of powder concocted nonsense in a tiny pot of plastic. Where sugar actually came from the sugar cane! Sweet!

I recommend JJ Beans or Beans on Cambie or Trixies (also on Cambie). Pick a mom and pop shop and you won’t be disappointed. There’s more heart and soul in it than “next.”

Jon, I don’t miss the rain, but the first thing I noticed Saturday morning was the mountains in North Van and West van. They get me every time. They are just so majestic and beautiful.

Sorry I can’t make it to the island, so much going on in wedding preparations and holiday stuff.

anything but Starbucks! I think I’m allergic to Starbucks!!!

    @Robert:

I see mountains and a tiny lake when I look out of my window. I never get tired of it. Then there are the bears, elk, cougars, tame deer …

    :)

    Cheers!
